CONSULTATION DESK for Non-Japanese Residents in Nagasaki

Nagasaki International Association offers the multi-lingual consultation-desk for non-Japanese.

The desk is opened to make your life more comfortable and confident, and takes any issues on your everyday life; such as your work, visa, medical care, social welfare and etc. The consultation is free of charge and you can consult not only through face-to-face but also via phone or email.

BUSINESS HOURS

Desk open hours ; Monday to Saturday, from 9:00am to 17:00pm.

*Please note that the desk is closed on Sundays, National holidays and from December 29th to January 3rd.

There are 3 ways to receive consultation:
Face-to-face: please visit the help desk at 1st floor, Dejima Koryu Kaikan (出島交流会館) at 2-11 Dejima-machi, Nagasaki City. (our desk is a part of NIA).

If you have visa related problem or questions, please talk to our administration scrivener; between 13:30pm & 16:30pm of 4th Saturday of every month at 1st floor of Dejima Koryu Kaikan.

The consultation desk is also opened outside Nagasaki city on the irregular basis. Please check the details by cricking NIA’ website.

About the Benefit:

As a measure to support those who are at risk for losing their current housing due to income decreases resulting from business shutdowns, etc., there is benefit where the local government pays rent to landlords, in principle for three months(maximum nine months).

You are eligible for the benefit if one of the following applies to you:

〇You have been unemployed or have closed down your business within the past two years.
〇Your income has decreased due to your employer’s or your own business’s shutdown, etc. and you are at risk for losing your current housing.
